Terms of Service
Placeholder document for the preview build — the final Terms of Service must be prepared with a lawyer before launch.
1. The platform
MoneyClan is a marketplace where licensed manufacturers ("Makers") produce and sell clothing, accessories and footwear exclusively under the MoneyClan (M$C) brand. Purchases are made from the Maker of each piece; MoneyClan operates the platform and the brand licence.
2. The mark
The MoneyClan name, crown and M$C monogram are registered marks. Makers may use them only under an active licence agreement and only for pieces sold through this platform. No other brands may be sold here.
3. Accounts
Customers and Makers are responsible for their account credentials. Maker accounts require approval and may be suspended for breach of the licence, quality standards or transparency commitments (including live workshop streams).
4. Orders, ratings & reviews
Only verified buyers may rate a purchase. Ratings feed each Maker's public score and the MoneyClan Award. Fraudulent reviews are removed and may lead to account suspension.
5. Commission & payouts
MoneyClan retains a platform commission on each sale; the remainder is paid to the Maker under the terms of their licence agreement.
6. Maker standing, product approval & penalties
Every product must be approved by MoneyClan before it goes live in the shop. Maker standing follows a three-strike rule: verified negative reviews (2★ or below) and confirmed quality complaints can each result in a strike. One strike is a warning; at three strikes the maker account is automatically suspended and its products are pulled from the shop. Suspended workshops may appeal; repeated suspensions, counterfeit tags or review fraud lead to permanent removal and licence termination. Exact thresholds are confirmed at launch.
7. Liability
Placeholder clause — to be drafted by counsel (returns, warranties, disputes, governing law).
